A partial hospitalization program (PHP) for mental health is an intensive outpatient treatment option that provides a high level of care without requiring patients to stay overnight in a hospital or residential program. PHPs are designed for individuals who need more comprehensive care than what typical outpatient care offers, but who do not require 24-hour supervision like that provided in inpatient settings.
Our PHP is structured to support your journey to recovery while you maintain your daily life, keeping up with personal responsibilities and obligations. Upon entering our PHP, you will undergo a comprehensive assessment to tailor a treatment plan that addresses your unique needs. Typically, PHP scheduling is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 3 PM. Our program includes a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), group therapy, individual psychiatric care, and medication management. These services are provided during the day, allowing you to apply learned strategies in real-world environments when you return home.

Graduation from our PHP does not mean the end of support. At New Mind Wellness, we believe in continuous care and support to ensure long-term success. After completing our PHP, you will have the opportunity to step down to less intensive levels of care, such as traditional outpatient rehab programming. We also provide alumni support groups and continued access to therapeutic services to help maintain the progress you’ve made.
Below is a list of options for continued care and ongoing support that can be offered once our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) concludes:
Regular sessions with a therapist, which may include individual, group, or family therapy to maintain progress and manage everyday stressors
Ongoing appointments with a psychiatrist to monitor and adjust medications as needed, ensuring that the therapeutic benefits continue without significant side effects.
Access to peer-led or therapist-led support groups where individuals can share experiences and strategies in a supportive environment.
Continued mental health support through online platforms, offering flexibility and accessibility for counseling and therapy sessions from home.
Programs specifically designed to recognize and manage triggers and symptoms that might lead to a relapse, helping to maintain stability.
Assistance from a case manager to help navigate life transitions, connect with community resources, and coordinate care among different service providers.
Guidance on nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle choices that support mental health and overall well-being.
Ongoing support and education for family members to understand mental health conditions better and learn how to support their loved ones effectively.
