Bin Kim

Hello! I am a clinical intern, hoping to hone my counseling skills so I can better serve you! I am a graduate student, currently pursuing my master’s at Villanova University. I am qualified to counsel under the supervision of a program faculty member as well as a site supervisor, and I adhere to the American Counseling Association’s Code of Ethics to best serve your needs. I take an eclectic approach to my counseling sessions, centered primarily around a psychodynamic approach. Though I draw a lot of skills and strategies from the psychodynamic approach, I make adjustments based on what you are looking for in our sessions. I believe that mental health is culturally and contextually defined and I work to take a multicultural approach when necessary. Finally, I view our sessions and relationship as a collaborative effort, to help you reach your desired goals. As an individual who is passionate about fostering personal growth, I look forward to getting to know you!
